With funding from the World Food Program (WFP), HUMAN ACCESS in Lahj governorate has begun disbursing cash assistance for the fourth round of the General Food Assistance (GFA) project to 68,955 targeted families in 15 districts to improve livelihoods and food security in Yemen.
This cash assistance will enable beneficiary families to meet their most urgent needs, such as food costs, as well as enhance their resilience to harsh climate impacts that have become a real threat to Yemenis’ food in light of the deteriorating economic conditions due to the ongoing conflict.
