HUMAN ACCESS concluded a workshop on participatory innovation to formulate behavioral and societal change communication messages on infant and baby feeding, with the participation of 30 pregnant and breastfeeding mothers from Lahj and Al Dhalea governorates.
As part of the Cash Support Program for Community Change, as well as the Therapeutic and Preventive Nutrition Project, the workshop is coordinated by HUMAN ACCESS in Lahj, funded by the World Food Program (WFP), as part of the country's humanitarian response efforts.
The workshop focused on engaging pregnant and breastfeeding mothers benefiting from the project in health and nutrition messages in order to raise awareness and create societal change about feeding infants and babies in a healthy and correct manner for a strong and prosperous childhood.
Dr. Arif Muhammad, Director General of the National Center for Health Education in the Ministry of Public Health & Population, participated in the opening of the workshop implemented in Aden, in addition to Dr. Adrian Majenja and Dr. Shaima Mansour, as representatives of the World Food Program in Yemen.
