Under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, and with funding from the World Food Program (WFP), HUMAN ACCESS in Lahj Governorate launched a week-long community awareness campaign on preventive nutrition messages in the districts of Habeel Jabr, Radfan, and Al-Maqatirah, as part of the activities of the social behavioral change communication program (SBCC).
The community campaign involves home visits and the distribution of awareness brochures with the participation of 80 volunteers.
As part of its efforts to combat malnutrition and for a strong and prosperous childhood, the campaign is intended to promote safe motherhood messages, breastfeeding, and complementary feeding to the community. It is critical that mothers and children are fed properly, especially infants and babies, in order to ensure their health.
