Funded by the World Food Program (WFP), HUMAN ACCESS distributed cash assistance to 606,078 individuals in 77,674 targeted families in Lahj Governorate as part of the General Food Assistance Project to enable beneficiary families to meet their most urgent needs, such as food costs and repaying food-related debts.
The cash assistance distributed included the districts of (Al-Hadd, Yahar, Al-Qabbaytah, Al-Malah, Halmeen, Tor Al-Bahah, Al-Musaymir, Tuban, Radfan, Yafa’, Al-Maqatirah, Al-Madaribah Wa Al-Arah, Al-Maflahi, and Al-Hawtah).
As Yemen's economic conditions continue to deteriorate due to the ongoing conflict for more than nine years, this aid will support the livelihoods of beneficiaries who are among the poorest and most vulnerable, including women-headed families and disabled individuals.
