The work of the Kuwaiti Zakat House is focused on collecting zakat and distributing it to its beneficiaries through providing humanitarian aid inside and outside Kuwait. It also provides assistance to all categories, including children, orphans, widows and needy families.
Kuwaiti Zakat House interventions in Yemen
The Kuwaiti Zakat House has various humanitarian interventions being implemented in Yemen, including: relief campaigns for the Yemeni people through direct support, provision of food and medical items, and implementation of several development, construction and health projects for the Yemeni people, in addition to the implementation of medical projects to fight epidemics and diseases and combat malnutrition.
Among the interventions carried out by the Kuwaiti Zakat House in light of the conflicts and situations that Yemen is going through is provision of relief aid to displaced families and provision of psychological and material support to those affected people.
