HUMAN ACCESS association has concluded the first phase of the "Efficiency" program to build and upgrade the capacity of its branches in Yemen and Djibouti.

It was a month-and-a-half intensive program with participation from 182 branch leaders and employees. This is part of the association’s ongoing efforts to enhance the institutional efficiency of the branches and build qualified leadership cadres in humanitarian work.

The first phase of this unique program was implemented in the governorates of Aden, Hadhramaut, and Marib. It included five training programs totaling 46 hours, covering key and specific topics, most notably: enhancing governance concepts in civil society organizations, managing development projects, building leadership, and report writing skills.

Riyadh Al-Qar'a, Director General of HUMAN ACCESS, emphasized that the “Efficiency” program represents one of the strategic pillars of the association, developing the performance of branches and upgrading the efficiency of their staff.

He added, "We at HUMAN ACCESS are keen to invest in building the capacity of our field teams to ensure more effective and sustainable humanitarian work that keeps pace with the challenges and changes in the humanitarian arena."

A key aspect of the "Efficiency" program is improving the quality of institutional performance and enhancing the branches’ readiness to deal with a variety of circumstances and requirements. This is in line with the HUMAN ACCESS’ vision to serve communities in need with efficiency and excellence.
