A delegation from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) visited health facilities in Hadhramaut Governorate that are part of the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, which is carried out by HUMAN ACCESS with funding UNFPA as an important part of the humanitarian response efforts in Yemen.
The delegation, consisting of Dr. Arwa Shaker, UNFPA Reproductive Health Coordinator, and Dr. Ahlam Bin Buraik, Reproductive Health Coordinator at the Fund in Hadhramaut governorate, visited Al-Dees Al-Sharqiya Hospital in Al-Dees Al-Sharqiya District and Shahir Health Center in Ghail Bawazir District.
In the presence of Hasan bin Rabid, Director of Al-Dees Al-Sharqiya Hospital, and Dr. Wafa Al-Hajj, Director of Shahir Health Center, the visiting delegation was briefed on the project progress to support reproductive health services, emphasizing the efforts made to enhance basic healthcare services and improve their level.
