In the presence of several local health officials, the HUMAN ACCESS branch in Mukalla city, Hadhramaut Governorate, received a delegation from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), led by Dr. Robert Njalula, the International Coordinator for Reproductive Health at UNFPA, and Dr. Ahlam Bin Buraik, the UNFPA Coordinator for Reproductive Health in Hadhramaut Region.
During the visit, the visiting delegation was briefed on the progress of the project to support reproductive health services, and praised the role and HUMAN ACCESS’ efficiency in implementing this vital project to serve the most vulnerable and needy groups and help save lives through supported health facilities in the districts of Mayfaa and Ghail Bawazir.
Since 2019, HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla has been implementing a project to support reproductive health services, with UNFPA’s funding.
Due to the pivotal role these basic services play in human life, the project supports Shahir Health Center, as well as Mayfaa Maternity and Childhood Center, to improve access to reproductive health services.
