HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate trained 30 members of community networks in Mukalla to combat female genital mutilation (FGM) under the umbrella of the FGM project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The training included a package of knowledge intended to educate and engage the participants in the fight against girls' sexual mutilation.
Additionally, the program discussed the serious consequences of such wrong practices, which violate girls' and women's basic human rights.
