Under the umbrella of the project to support reproductive health services, implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate and funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Tarim Hospital and the Health Center in Shahir were provided with medicines and medical supplies for emergency obstetric departments.
By providing these materials, the hospital and the center were able to improve the quality of reproductive health services, ensure continuity of health care for patients, and strengthen their role in providing medical services.
In addition to promoting a healthier future, the project's support of reproductive health services also reduces deaths of mothers and newborns during or after delivery. It, moreover, meets an important part of the medical needs in a number of Yemeni governorates.
