As a result of Cyclone Tej, HUMAN ACCESS supplied 56,000 liters of potable water to 280 families in Al-Ghaydah city, benefitting 1,680 individuals, easing their suffering and securing their drinking water needs, particularly since the water network was damaged during the tropical storm.
Safe drinking water is one of the most pressing human needs in the wake of natural disasters.
The drinking water distribution project is part of the HUMAN ACCESS response to avoid any serious effects on the lives and health of those affected by the cyclone and to help vulnerable local communities recover from the disaster.
