Mr. Ahmed Sharaf Ebrahim, UNFPA Gender Sub-Cluster Coordinator, and Dr. Ahlam Saleh Bin Burik, UNFPA Reproductive Health Coordinator in Hadramout Governorate were received by Dr. Abdulwasea Al-Waseai, HUMAN ACCESS Secretary-General in Wadi Hadramout, in the presence of Majid Saleh Ba Ramadah, HUMAN ACCESS Executive Director, Dr. Mahmoud Salem Ba Gubeir, Reproductive Health Services Project Coordinator, and Sundos Al-Saidi, Protection and Livelihood Support Project Coordinator (Safe Space for Women and Girls) in Wadi Hadramout.
During the reception, Dr. Abdulwasea Al-Waseai, Secretary General of HUMAN ACCESS emphasized the importance of an extended and strategic partnership with UNFPA, which has delivered a variety of support and assistance for the most vulnerable in a country facing the world's worst humanitarian crisis.
A visit was also paid by the visiting coordinators to Trim Public Hospital funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) under the Reproductive Health Services Project implemented by HUMAN ACCESS. They were welcomed by Mr. Mohamed Haddad Al-Kaf, Director of Trim Public Hospital, who expressed his thanks to UNFPA’s significant support.
Dr. Ahlam Ben Burik, UNFPA Reproductive Health Coordinator in Hadramout praised the services provided by Obstetric Emergency Units at Trim Hospital through UNFPA support.
Mr. Ahmed Sharaf, UNFPA Gender Sub-Cluster Coordinator in Hadramout, also paid a visit to the Women and Girls Safe Space Project in Wadi Hadramout.
On the sidelines of the visit, Mr. Ahmed Sharaf, UNFPA Gender Sub-Cluster Coordinator in Hadramout, asserted that UNFPA is keen to implement the Safe Spaces Project with active and strategic partners such as HUMAN ACCESS.
