425,927 people benefited from Ramadan charity projects this year (1446 AH - 2025), implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in several Yemeni governorates, with funding from partners and donors.
These beneficiaries included 12,296 Yemeni refugees in the Republic of Djibouti and the host community.
The Ramadan charity projects involved the distribution of food baskets, iftar meals, ready-to-eat meals, dates, meat, Zakat al-Fitr, clothing, and Eid gifts. These projects aim to create hope for the poor and needy during the holy month and bring joy and happiness to the homes of needy families.
The Ramadan charity projects are part of HUMAN ACCESS' ongoing efforts to assist poor and affected families and improve their living conditions.
These seasonal projects are of great importance in providing food support to the most vulnerable groups and mitigating their suffering amid the increasing incidence of hunger, poverty, and unemployment in Yemen due to the prolonged conflict.
In a press statement, Yahya Hasan Al-Daba, Head of HUMAN ACCESS, praised the support of partners and benefactors for the Ramadan charity projects. He said that these annual projects bring smiles to the faces of those exhausted by deprivation and contribute significantly to improving the conditions of the neediest groups amid one of the world's most severe humanitarian crises.
Many beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude to HUMAN ACCESS and its donors for their contribution, through the humanitarian aid provided during the month of Ramadan, in alleviating their living burdens, bringing joy and happiness to their hearts and making a positive difference in their lives and the lives of their families.
