Dr. Ishraq Al-Sibaei, Assistant Undersecretary for the Population Sector at the Ministry of Public Health & Population, visited two health centers supported by HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which are the Psychosocial Support Center at Al-Shihr General Hospital in Al-Shihr district and Shahir Health Center in Ghail Bawazir district.
During the visit, Dr. Ishraq was briefed on the important medical services provided by the two centers, praising HUMAN ACCESS’ and UNFPA’s efforts in implementing qualitative and vital health projects to serve the most vulnerable and needy groups, improve access to basic health services, and build a healthier future in the country.
With funding from UNFPA, HUMAN ACCESS association runs the psychological support center, within the activities of the protection and livelihood support project “Safe Space for Women and Girls”.
The association also manages a project to support reproductive health services, which supports Shahir Health Center, along with other centers, to provide some necessary health services and save the lives of vulnerable people.
