HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahra Governorate received the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population for the Therapeutic Medicine Sector, Dr. Shawqi Al-Sharjabi.
As part of his visit, Dr. Al Sharjabi discussed HUMAN ACCESS' health projects in the governorate, including a program designed to support reproductive health services, which collaborates with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to support the obstetric emergency department at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital.
Accompanied by the director general of the Health and Population office in Al-Mahra, Dr. Mubarak, Dr. Al-Sharjabi and the visiting delegation praised the ongoing work of HUMAN ACCESS in the health field, and the important interventions the organization is making to provide basic healthcare services and save the lives of vulnerable people in light of the fragility of the healthcare system in Yemen as a result of the protracted conflict.
