KSrelief Center and HUMAN ACCESS discuss arrangements for implementing the 1447 AH Udhiyah Project in Al-Mahra Governorate
As part of the joint coordination for implementing the 1447 AH Udhiyah (Qurbani) meat distribution project in Al-Mahra Governorate, the HUMAN ACCESS association team held a coordination meeting with Mr. Ali Bakheet Al-Mutairi, Assistant Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief (KSrelief) Center's branch in Al-Mahra Governorate. The meeting focused on discussing the arrangements for implementing the project and the mechanism for delivering the Udhiyah meat to the most needy families, in accordance with approved health requirements and regulations and within the designated Islamic distribution times.
During the meeting, the project implementation plan and the mechanism for distributing the Udhiyah meat to eligible families in Al-Ghaydah District were reviewed. This aims to ensure that the meat reaches the most vulnerable groups and contributes to mitigating the suffering of needy families during the blessed days of Eid al-Adha.
The project targets the poorest and most vulnerable segments of society, according to the categories specified by Islamic law. It will distribute 500 sacrificial goats, benefiting approximately 1,000 of the most needy families in Al-Mahrah Governorate.
This project is part of a larger initiative supported by the KSrelief Center, implemented through its partner, the Insan Charity Association, in cooperation with the HUMAN ACCESS Association. The initiative aims to provide 4,140 sacrificial goats, benefiting 8,280 of the most vulnerable families and groups in the governorates of Aden, Hadhramaut, Al-Mahrah, and Marib.
The team also visited the sheep pen designated for the project to conduct a field inspection, perform the necessary veterinary examinations on samples of the goats, and ensure their health and compliance with the required specifications. They also weighed the goats to confirm their readiness for distribution.
The HUMAN ACCESS Association team appreciated the ongoing humanitarian and development interventions provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, stressing that these relief projects contribute effectively to alleviating the suffering of the most needy groups and promoting human solidarity during religious seasons.
