In response to the floods, HUMAN ACCESS is appealing to donors to support relief efforts
Yemen has been experiencing heavy rains and torrential floods as a result of a low-pressure system, which has hit a number of governorates and caused severe damage in large areas of the country.
In Yemen, there are millions of people who are suffering from the effects of the protracted conflict, displacement, and poverty, resulting in an already dire humanitarian situation.
With more rain and wind expected in the coming days, HUMAN ACCESS calls on donors and international partners to provide urgent and appropriate support to meet the massive needs of affected communities in most parts of Yemen.
The association also confirms its readiness to provide life-saving assistance to those in need in the areas affected by the floods.
