HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate organized a training course on dealing with postpartum hemorrhage, targeting 14 female doctors, nurses and midwives in the obstetrics and gynecology department of Tarim General Hospital, as part of the series of training programs held by the reproductive health services support project, funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The training course covers basic information about postpartum hemorrhage, including its definition, types, causes, and treatment plan.
As a result of the training, these women will be better prepared to provide high-quality healthcare, thereby reducing postpartum hemorrhage and preventing the public health system from collapsing completely amid the ongoing conflict.
