HUMAN ACCESS in Taiz Governorate awarded economic empowerment toolkits to 20 women in the fields of sewing and tailoring, hairdressing and beauty, in addition to the delivery of dignity bags to 40 women in Al-Ma'afer District, as part of the project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The distribution process took place in the presence of Mohammed Ali Fare’, Secretary-General of the Local Council in Al-Ma'afer District, and a number of local officials.

After receiving vocational rehabilitation, the beneficiaries were provided with economic empowerment bags which included vocational supplies to help them enter the labor market and earn a living. The dignity bags contained basic materials and supplies for women and girls.

The beneficiaries expressed great delight at receiving this humanitarian support that aimed to create a positive and sustainable impact in society in accordance with sustainable development goals.
