HUMAN ACCESS in Shabwa Governorate distributed dignity bags to 70 displaced women in Ataq city as part of the project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The distributed dignity kits contain essential supplies, especially for women, to mitigate the suffering of women and girls living in vulnerable situations and enhance protection from gender-based violence for safer, more stable, and prosperous societies.
On the sidelines of the distribution of dignity kits, community awareness was conducted on personal hygiene and its importance for physical and mental health and disease prevention, in addition to holding legal awareness to educate women of their rights.
Psychological support was also offered to help women beneficiaries gain self-confidence.
