HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahra Governorate, implemented a number of important and impactful activities during April 2026, as part of the project to provide livelihood services for the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The activities included various community sessions, benefiting 199 women; group psychosocial support sessions for 118 beneficiaries; and training for 50 women in sewing and tailoring, confectionery and pastry making, and incense and perfume making, to empower them to enter the job market and start their own businesses.

In addition, seven awareness sessions were conducted with the participation of 140 women, along with activities related to the child protection space, and 333 visitors were received at the project management office.
