With funding from the Turkish Orphan Foundation, HUMAN ACCESS distributed humanitarian aid to orphans in Marib Governorate. This aid included 400 food baskets, 400 iftar meals, 400 Ramadan bags and gifts for children, and Eid clothing for 400 male and female orphans.
The humanitarian aid coincides with World Orphan Day, which falls on the 15th of Ramadan each year.
The aid distributed intends to mitigate the suffering of orphans, bring joy to their hearts and the hearts of their families, and foster a sense of community cooperation and solidarity.
The world celebrates World Orphan Day on the 15th of Ramadan each year, to remind people of the suffering of this precious segment of society, raise awareness of the issues and needs of orphans, and encourage greater efforts to provide care and sponsorship for them and protect their rights.
Recognizing the urgent need to provide comprehensive care and protection for orphans, HUMAN ACCESS, since its founding in 1990, has established a special sector for orphan sponsorship and care.
This aims to consolidate the humanitarian support for orphans in Yemen and provide them with the necessary psychological, social, and health environment to enable them to become positive members of Yemeni society.
