UNDP Overview
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is a global development network of the United Nations, operating in 177 countries. It was established in 1965 within the UN Economic and Social Council. Its headquarters is located in the United States of America, specifically in New York City. The program contributes to supporting expertise and knowledge worldwide by developing solutions tailored to meet development challenges and difficulties inside and outside countries to reduce poverty, armed conflicts, disputes and disasters, and promote early recovery after the onset of the crisis.
UNDP operates for inclusive growth that expands the capabilities of developing countries and provides development programs in cooperation with local governments.
