The position is a warehouse guard with the Integrated and Sustainable Needs Assistance (INSAN) project in high-risk and deprived areas in Al-Mudhaffar and Al-Qahirah and Broom Mayfa districts funded by YHF.

Location: Taiz Governorate

Contract duration: 10 months

Job Specialization: Guarding a warehouse, preserving the materials contained therein, and monitoring its surroundings.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  1. Protect the warehouses, medicines, and supplies contained therein.
  2. Work legally to defend warehouses and any property inside them.
  3. Receive any supplies in the event that the warehouse keeper is unable to be present according to the established system.
  4. Monitor the location surrounding the warehouses and pay attention to any observations or doubts about the safety of the warehouses.
  5. Record and submit any notes that raise suspicion and suspicion.
  6. Maintain constant and direct communication with the warehouse keeper regarding any observation, arrival of materials, or any emergency
  7. Move items inside the warehouse and any other work inside the warehouse directed by the warehouse keeper.
  8. Not to enter or remove any materials except with supporting documents disclaiming any responsibility.
  9. Adhere to daily work and open doors and windows for ventilation on a daily basis.
  10. Archive all documents supporting the supply and disbursement process and deliver them to the direct official at the end of the project.
  11. Carry out any other work assigned to him within the limits of job duties and responsibilities.

Job requirements

Qualifications and experience:

  1. General secondary school.
  2. At least two years of experience in guarding and security.

Skills and abilities:

  • Skills in communication and dealing with customers.
  • Skills in security dealing with others.
  • Intensity of observation and attention.
  • Familiarity with the principles of public safety and security.

Physical and mental requirements:

  • He must enjoy excellent mental and physical health.
  • He must be focused and alert.

Other requirements:

  1. Willingness to undertake full-time work.
  2. The applicant must not have had any previous convictions related to exploitation, abuse, sexual harassment, fraud, corruption, or conflict of interest.
  3. Priority will be given to the people of the governorates targeted by the project.
