Job Purpose

The Livelihoods Empowerment and Training Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, implementing, and monitoring livelihood training and economic empowerment activities under the project. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality training programs while strengthening the capacities of targeted women and girls in livelihood skills, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop monthly and quarterly work plans for livelihood training and economic empowerment activities.
  2. Identify the training needs of beneficiaries in coordination with targeted communities and the project team.
  3. Design and develop training programs aimed at empowering women and girls.
  4. Prepare the Terms of Reference (ToR) for selecting trainers and coordinate the recruitment and contracting process.
  5. Organize and coordinate all logistical arrangements for training courses.
  6. Supervise the implementation of training programs and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  7. Monitor trainers' performance and provide constructive feedback to improve training quality.
  8. Oversee vocational skills training, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy programs.
  9. Monitor beneficiary registration and attendance throughout the training programs.
  10. Supervise the distribution of start-up kits for small business initiatives in accordance with approved procedures.
  11. Monitor income-generating activities (IGAs) implemented under the economic empowerment component.
  12. Document and compile success stories and lessons learned.
  13. Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly reports on training and economic empowerment activities.
  14. Participate in regular coordination meetings, planning sessions, and evaluation workshops.
  15. Contribute to the preparation of detailed project implementation plans related to training and economic empowerment.
  16. Perform any additional duties assigned by the Project Manager that are relevant to the nature of the position.
  17. Carry out any other tasks assigned within the scope of the project.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
  • Good command of English.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including data entry and electronic filing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to provide timely and constructive feedback.
  • Strong report-writing skills, including preparation of daily and monthly reports.

Additional Requirements

  1. Availability to work on a full-time basis.
