The Humanitarian Access Association announces its need to fill the following vacant position:

  • Position: Director of the “Riyada Center” for Girls’ Protection and Empowerment

v Overall Purpose of the Position

 Provide leadership and comprehensive supervision of the center’s operations and programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in line with standards, effective management of human and material resources, and representation of the organization before partners and the local community.

v Key Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Oversee planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all center programs and activities.
  2. Develop periodic operational plans and ensure their implementation in line with project strategic objectives.
  3. Lead and guide the center’s team, manage their performance, and support professional development.
  4. Hold regular staff meetings to track progress and address challenges.
  5. Ensure service quality and compliance with child protection standards and related policies.
  6. Review periodic reports and ensure accuracy before submission to senior management.
  7. Manage the center’s budget and operational expenses within delegated authority.
  8. Conduct regular community needs assessments to improve programs and services.
  9. Coordinate and represent the organization as the focal point with local stakeholders in the center’s area of operation.
  10. Represent the organization in local meetings related to child protection and humanitarian services.
  11. Build and strengthen networks with service providers and stakeholders to improve referrals and access to services.
  12. Supervise financial and material resources of the center and ensure proper utilization.
  13. Monitor staff affairs (attendance, leave, schedules) and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  14. Ensure a safe and supportive work environment for staff and beneficiaries.
  15. Report any safety or protection risks immediately to senior management.
  16. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the project management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in management, social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supervisory or managerial roles within the humanitarian or development sector.
  • Proven experience in child protection or empowerment programs.
  • Strong experience in team management and leadership.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command of Arabic (speaking, writing, reading).
  • Good command of English (speaking, writing, reading).
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
