Human Access Association announces its need to fill the following vacant position:

Basic Information about the Position

  • Position Title: Field Assistant

  • Contract Duration: 3 months

Overall Purpose of the Position To collect and analyze information related to protection risks and violations faced by targeted groups in project sites, through community monitoring activities, direct observation, and interviews. The role aims to support evidence-based interventions, strengthen protection response, and contribute to raising community awareness and safe reporting, while adhering to principles of protection, confidentiality, and non-discrimination.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Collect and receive information from IDPs and refer cases to the Protection Officer and Center Manager in line with project management instructions.
  2. Provide support and assistance to social workers in following up on individual cases.
  3. Assist in monitoring at-risk cases in the field, conduct interviews with IDPs, and refer them to the Protection Officer and Center Manager.
  4. Follow up and verify data and information collected by local authorities and ensure consistency with the situation on the ground.
  5. Support Protection Officers in handling daily issues of IDPs.
  6. Carry out tasks assigned by the Center Manager or Deputy, inside or outside the center, as required by the public interest.
  7. Respect administrative regulations set by project management.
  8. Adhere to work ethics and comply with the association’s Code of Conduct.
  9. Commit to working hours and shifts determined by project management.
  10. Distribute materials in the center when approved by the donor and Center Manager.
  11. Participate in working group meetings at the center or other meetings designated by the Center Manager.
  12. Contribute to the implementation of other activities within the center’s framework.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sociology or Diploma in Business Administration.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the same field.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in computer use, data entry, and archiving.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Capacity to complete tasks and provide timely feedback.
  • Ability to draft required daily and monthly reports.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Physically fit with sound senses.
  • Presentable appearance.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong observation skills.
  • Focus and alertness.
  • Logical analytical ability.
