Basic Information

General Objective of the Position
Ensure the provision of case management services for children, women, and vulnerable groups in line with humanitarian standards and approved child protection procedures, through supervising social workers, providing technical support, and coordinating referrals to guarantee an effective and comprehensive response to cases.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Receive service requests, ensure proper registration and coding in the system, and direct them to the relevant case management staff.
- Ensure that all beneficiary information and data are securely stored and protected against hacking, copying, or tampering.
- Register new visitors and schedule appointments for direct service provision.
- Provide technical support and guidance to social workers in handling complex cases.
- Organize weekly case meetings and review challenges and recommendations with the team.
- Coordinate with other service providers to ensure effective referrals to appropriate entities.
- Contribute to the preparation of work plans and periodic reports related to case management.
- Identify training needs and build team capacity in protection and case management.
- Ensure confidentiality of information and strict adherence to child and adult protection policies.
- Participate in field needs assessments related to protection services.
- Use the case management system and safeguard it against unauthorized access through reception passwords.
- Represent the program in meetings and activities related to case management.
- Adhere to Human Access organizational policies and practices, including codes of conduct and administrative regulations.
- Perform any other project-related tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
Essential Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in case management, child protection, or humanitarian work.
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of case management principles and protection standards.
- Ability to assess needs and develop intervention plans.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with proven ability to prepare professional technical and administrative reports.
- Strong decision-making and responsibility-taking skills in dynamic environments, with competence in managing complex and emergency situations.
- Skilled in report writing and field data collection.
- Commitment to humanitarian values and principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Word – Excel – PowerPoint).
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Physically fit with sound senses.
- Presentable appearance.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good listening, comprehension, and situational awareness.
