Human Access for Partnership and Development (HUMAN ACCESS) announces the following vacant position:

Job: Volunteers (males)

Number required: Three

Location: Taiz Governorate (Multiple Districts)

Contract Duration: Three months

Job Specialization:

Providing the necessary support for gender services project cases.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Collect and receive information from survivors and submit cases to the case management officer according to the committee's instructions and project management.
  • Provide support and assistance to social workers in following up on individual cases.
  • Assist in monitoring cases at risk in the field and conduct interviews with survivors and refer them to the case management officer and project manager.
  • Follow up and verify the data and information collected by community networks and match them with the reality on the ground.
  • Assist case management officers in dealing with daily issues.
  • Implement the work and tasks assigned to him by the project coordinator or his deputy, whether inside or outside the safe space, according to what the public interest requires.
  • Respect the administrative regulations specified by the project management.
  • Adhere to the ethics and work rules of the association and the United Nations.
  • Abide by the working hours and shifts specified by the project management.
  • Participate in the working group meetings in the safe space or any other meetings specified by the project coordinator.
  • Participate in implementing any other activities within the framework of the safe space.
  • Implement any other tasks assigned to him by the project management.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to him by the Safe Space Manager or Project Coordinator.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Diploma in Sociology or related field.
  2. Experience of not less than one year in the same field.

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Skill in the art of dealing with others.
  2. Ability to work under pressure at work.
  3. Social skills (such as providing psychosocial support).
  4. High skill in communication and reporting.
  5. High ability to make decisions and determine the needs of each case.
  6. High ability to direct and analyze logically.
