Human Access for Partnership and Development announces the following vacant position:

Job: Legal Specialist

Number Required: One

Location: Al Hudaydah – Al Khokha

Contract Duration: Nine months

Job Specialization:

Conducting intake sessions with displaced people to identify their legal issues and referring them to the relevant specialized departments.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  1. Prepare and implement monthly and quarterly plans for awareness-raising activities and life skills programs.
  2. Conduct daily interviews with cases referred by Case Management and provide the necessary legal advice.
  3. Conduct field-based and office-based awareness sessions to enhance the legal knowledge of the target groups.
  4. Coordinate with local authorities, including Civil Status offices, to facilitate the issuance of identification documents in collaboration with the "Space" management.
  5. Prepare and document success stories from the field.
  6. Contribute to developing tools and mechanisms for raising legal awareness.
  7. Participate in mobilization and advocacy efforts for groups at risk of Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
  8. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports regarding awareness activities and programs.
  9. Identify strengths and weaknesses in program implementation and propose appropriate solutions.
  10. Attend periodic meetings and assigned training workshops.
  11. Execute any other tasks assigned within the framework of the project.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Law, or a related field.
  2. At least three years of experience in the same field.
  3. English Language.

Skills and Abilities:

  1. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Advanced skills in computer use, data entry, and archiving.
  3. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  4. Proven ability to complete tasks and provide timely feedback.
  5. Proficiency in preparing and writing high-quality daily and monthly reports.
