Job Title: Case Management Officer

Number Required: One

Location: Multi-location

Contract Duration: Sixteen months

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure the provision of case management services for children in accordance with humanitarian standards and established child protection procedures, by supervising teams of social workers, providing technical support, and coordinating referrals to ensure an effective and comprehensive response to cases.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise the case management team to ensure the quality of services provided.
  • Conduct case management assessments according to approved procedures and refer children to the relevant specialists according to the assessment and intervention plan.
  • Coordinate with the Ministry of Social Affairs Office as a case supervisor until the case is closed.
  • Review and audit case files to ensure compliance with case management standards and protection policies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to social workers in dealing with complex cases.
  • Organize weekly case meetings and review challenges and recommendations with the team.
  • Coordinate with other service providers to ensure effective referral of cases to appropriate agencies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of action plans and periodic reports related to case management.
  • Identify training needs and build the team's capacity in the areas of protection and case management.
  • Ensure confidentiality of information and strict adherence to child and adult protection policies.
  • Participate in field needs assessments for protection services.
  • Represent the program in meetings and activities related to case management.
  • Adhere to HUMAN ACCESS policies and practices, including the Code of Conduct and relevant administrative policies.
  • Carry out any other project-related tasks assigned by the project manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • A university degree in social sciences, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in case management or child protection, according to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor model.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • Ability to assess needs and develop intervention plans.
  • High-level oral and written communication skills, with an outstanding ability to prepare professional technical and administrative reports.

  • Skilled in preparing reports and collecting field data.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
  • Proficiency in using computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
