Project Background
The Girls’ Protection and Empowerment Project – Phase II aims to strengthen community protection systems for girls most at risk of violence, exploitation, and denial of rights. It builds on achievements from Phase I, which raised awareness on child rights, child marriage, gender-based violence, and female genital mutilation. The project also develops referral mechanisms, provides specialized support services, expands prevention and response interventions, and enhances the capacities of abused girls through an entrepreneurial approach.
Overall Purpose of the Position
To ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of project reports, document data and information related to project activities and results, support decision-making and performance improvement, and meet donor and stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual) according to formats and standards set by management and donors.
- Collect data and information from field and administrative teams (case management, activities) and verify accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, extract findings and recommendations for reports.
- Draft reports professionally and clearly, ensuring timely submission.
- Develop databases and electronic tools for data collection.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of project and beneficiary information.
- Organize and archive reports and supporting documents systematically.
- Coordinate with program officers and field supervisors to gather inputs for reports.
- Provide technical support to teams on reporting and data collection procedures.
- Contribute to presentations on project activities and results for senior management and stakeholders.
- Review reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy policies in all reports.
- Contribute to beneficiary satisfaction surveys and impact assessment reports when needed.
- Perform any other tasks within the scope of work.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Management, Media, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in reporting, data management, or monitoring and evaluation, preferably in humanitarian or development sector.
- Experience in donor reporting requirements.
Skills and Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and data analysis software (SPSS, KOBO Toolbox).
- Excellent Arabic language skills (speaking, writing, reading).
- Very good to excellent English skills (writing and reading, for reports).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work within a team and collaborate across departments.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Physically healthy with sound senses.
- Presentable appearance.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong observation skills.

- Must be from or permanently residing in Aden Governorate.
- Commitment to full-time work.
