Safe Space Project Coordinators (4)

Skills and qualifications:

  • University degree in the administration - or any related fields (priority for females).
  • Experience of not less than 3 years in the same field or areas of humanitarian work.
  • Experience in management and training.
  • Knowledge of humanitarian action and emergency response.
  • Excellent level of English language.
  • The ability to use the computer skillfully.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Follow-up and administrative and technical supervision of the activities of the safe spaces.
  • Review and develop plans.
  • Supervise the recruitment procedures for vacant positions.
  • Set up proposals to develop work and address challenges and difficulties.
  • Review the data entered in the database.
  • Develop a mechanism to follow up implementation of the activities and events that are implemented in the safe spaces.
  • Monitor compliance with the terms of the guidelines/directions for working in the spaces.
  • Monitor the disbursement of the operational budget.
  • Prepare a quarterly plan for all the activities to be implemented in the safe space according to the mechanism and forms approved by the project management.
  • Coordinate and network to promote the safe space with the local authority and other partners.
  • Attend coordination meetings, including the meetings of the clusters.
  • Draft a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly report on the achievement and the major issues needed to be discussed with the project management.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the project management.

Safe Space Supervisors (4)

Skills and qualifications:

  • Manage the Safe Space.
  • Develop plans for safe space activities and programs.
  • Supervise all administrative and technical operations.
  • Develop a plan to promote the safe space between women and girls.
  • Manage the meetings.
  • Review monthly and quarterly reports and success stories.
  • Operational budget management.
  • Work to ensure the availability of security and safety procedures, protection standards and principles of humanitarian work during the implementation of all activities within the space.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the project coordinator regarding the management of the activities implemented in the space.
  • Announce of vacancies in the space.
  • Enhance the team spirit and build human and social relations among the Safe Space staff.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned to by the project management within the project.

Case Management Specialists (4)

Skills and qualifications:

  • University degree in Psychology - Sociology - Law.
  • Experience of not less than 3 years in the same field or areas of humanitarian work.
  • Experience in case management
  • Knowledge of humanitarian action and emergency response.
  • Excellent level of English language.
  • The ability to use the computer (Microsoft Office) programs.
  • The ability to correspondence via e-mail.
  • Have the skill in communicating with others.
  • Have the ability to handle work stress.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Interview cases daily.
  • Open case files, make the necessary assessment, and implement the steps of case management.
  • Coordinate and network with the relevant authorities to enhance the referral system.
  • Commitment to respond to cases and enter the case management system daily.
  • Draft periodic reports.
  • Commitment to service delivery standards, including security, safety, confidentiality and the right to self-determination.
  • Commitment to attend the monthly meetings.
  • Undertake any tasks assigned to within the framework of the project.

Accountants (4)

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Two years experience in the same field.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional skills (ability to analyze financially and evaluate the performance of projects, skills to deal with accounting systems (YemenSoft - UNIX).
  • Preferably someone who has the English language.
  • High skills in accounts and financial reporting.
  • Administrative skills (such as planning, organizing, control, follow-up and evaluation).
  • High skill in communication and preparing reports.
  • Have ability to take decisions and assume responsibilities.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Issue financial disbursement orders in accordance with the specified budget and according to the directives of those authorized to disbursement.
  • Adjust and control disbursements according to budget items.
  • Keep daily accounts records electronically and on paper.
  • Liquidate the financial covenant first hand for the main center of the association.
  • Participate in the project work group meetings or other meetings required by the project management.
  • Participate in implementation of any other activities within the framework of the project.

Legal Specialists (4)

  • Bachelor's degree in Sharia and Law, or a related field.
  • Experience of no less than three years in the same field.

  • Skill in computer use, data entry and archiving.

  • Ability to write required daily and monthly reports.

  • Interview the cases referred by the case management on a daily basis and provide the necessary legal advice.
  • Perform field and office awareness sessions aimed at raising awareness on law among the target groups.
  • Network with local authorities, including civil affairs, regarding the issuance of identification documents, in coordination with the Safe Space administration.

  • Participate in the mechanisms and tools development for raising legal awareness.
  • Undertake mobilization and advocacy campaigns for groups at risk of gender-based violence.

  • Prepare quarterly and monthly plan for psychological support and counseling activities.
  • Receive cases in the safe space that need counseling and psychological support services, and provide them with initial counseling.
  • Manage the individual and group (psychological support) hearings.
  • Work to develop and improve the target surrounding environment.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on various psychological support activities.
  • Participate in developing mechanisms and tools for monitoring and evaluate the impact of psychological support activities.
  • Monitor and document success stories.
  • Determine weaknesses and strengths and develop treatment proposals.

Babysitters (4)

Skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma in Education, Kindergarten or any related field.
  • Experience of not less than one year in the same field.
  • Female, and priority is given to the resident in the district.
  • Have a skill in writing reports and success stories.
  • Have the ability to deal with the computer.
  • High skill in communicating with children.
  • High ability to take decisions and assume responsibilities.
  • Attended courses in work-related fields (gender / communication / humanitarian work / preparation of plans, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Prepare plans for the required activities.
  • Receive children inside the safe space and provide psychological and recreational activities.
  • Submit reports on various activities offered to children within the safe space.

Community Midwives (4)

  • Diploma in Midwifery.

  • Attended courses in work-related fields (gender / communication / humanitarian work / preparation of plans, etc.)

  • Prepare the required plans for the activities under implementation in the target area.
  • Make community outreach about health and reproductive health of women and girls in the targeted areas.
  • Provide the necessary field and office health advice for women and girls.
  • Submit the required reports for the implemented activities.
  • Prepare success stories.
  • Perform works and tasks entrusted to her by the safe space administration.
  • Attend periodic meetings.
  • Attend any meetings or training sessions assigned to her.
